It does, however, share a few similarities with the original show, including Janel Parrish and Sasha Pieterse’s return as Mona Vanderwaal and Alison DiLaurentis and the opening theme being a new, equally creepy cover of the original Pretty Little Liars theme song. King will be playing Jeremy, described as a “brilliant young scientist who works at Beacon Heights’ prestigious Hotchkiss Technologies, and is hiding a shocking secret.” King joins the previously-announced cast of the spinoff, including Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish of Pretty Little Liars, as well as Sofia Carson, Sydney Park, Eli Brown, and Kelly Rutherford. The Hollywood Reporter brings word that Graeme Thomas King ( The Widow) has been cast in Freeform‘s Pretty Little Liars spinoff The Perfectionists as the series male lead.
